The Programs and Services of Southwest 8 exist to enhance the quality of life of the seniors of southwest Iowa as well as the family and friends who care for them.
Our Programs are as varied as the arrangement of in-home services for seniors through our Case Management Program for the Frail Elderly (CMPFE) and support for family caregivers of elderly to our Nutrition Program which includes 28 congregate meal sites as well as home-delivered hot and frozen meals. We also have advocacy programs that serve dually to assist seniors in accessing services and benefits and as a call to action.
Our senior centers serve not only as an informational community resource but also as a center for socialization and activities.
